Description
Symbol for Adobe Illustrator 10*
The file contains seven groups of grass blades, arranged randomly, plus a whole lawn.
Some suggestions:
- As seen in the preview image, layer your grass. Make the groups progressively taller and lighter/transparent. This will give the illusion of depth.
- Slightly vary the shades of individual blades of grass. Like people, grass comes in different shades, even among the same... er, 'race'.
- Everything can be ungrouped and rearranged. Use this to your advantage. In other words, please avoid the "cookie-cutter" look!
A sample of these in use can be seen here: [link]
You're free to modify these to suit your needs.
------------------------------
Loading custom symbols:
- Open the "window" menu at the top, go down to the "Symbol library" sub menu, and select "other library".
- Find the file on your hard drive, wherever you saved it.
Note: The file extension is ".PDF"; you will have to rename it to ".AI". You can do this either by right-clicking on the download link and selecting "save target as", then change the extension there, or you can change it after the file is downloaded.
*May or may not work in older or newer versions of illustrator
